Online sessions are held via secure, encrypted platforms, such as Zoom.I will send a Zoom link to your email address, it will allow you to join the online session.
For sessions conducted by phone I will call you from my mobile number for the duration of the session.

You’re not obligated to book a session after the introductory call. This has to feel right for you.

I typically offer weekly sessions, but for those who may need more time to process or prefer a more budget-friendly option, I can accommodate bi-weekly sessions.

Everyone is unique. There is no one-size-fits all therapy and duration will depend on the issue you bring and what you wish to get out of therapy. The usual practice is to make a commitment of 6 or 12 weekly sessions, and then review our work together. This may be a sufficient number of sessions or you may then decide to continue on an long-term basis.

You may naturally feel a bit nervous about starting therapy, so I will explain what you can expect from me and learn what your needs and goals are (initial assessment). The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other better. We will go at a pace that is comfortable for you.

I kindly request a minimum of 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. With sufficient notice, I can accommodate rescheduling based on availability. The session will be charged at the full rate for cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice.

Yes, it is important that you feel safe during sessions. Qualified therapists undertake monthly supervision but all clients are anonymised in this process. There are some exceptions to confidentiality such as "harm to self or others", terrorist activities, drug trafficking and money laundering or by the order of court. The Counselling Contract will be sent to you prior to our first session, which outlines more about confidentiality.
